Trisha Federis Remetir is a PhD Candidate at UNC Chapel Hill researching
contemporary Filipinx cultural production alongside water disputes and histories of extraction in and around the Philippines. Trisha is also interested in women of color feminisms and how we engage in care outside of institutional and/or carceral frameworks. She was a UNC Humanities for the Public Good scholar and Imagining America’s PAGE scholar in 2020-2021.
